Photos > [2008-07-26] Paestum, Pompeii, and Herculaneum
We visited Pompeii, the well-known Roman town that was destroyed when Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD. We also visited its less well-known neighbor Herculaneum. The sites themselves were very interesting, although I didn't end up with many good photos.
We also visited Paestum, which is known today for the ruins of several Greek & Roman temples built there.
