The Louvre, in the center of Paris, is one of the most famous museums in the world. We went to a few other big-name museums while in Italy, and none of the others came close to the scale and quality of the Louvre. There are lots of famous paintings and sculptures here, including the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory, and plenty of others.
