The Roppongi area in Tokyo is the location of the enormous, futuristic Roppongi Hills shopping mall, which includes the lower floors of the 54-story Mori Tower. On the top floors are the Tokyo City View observation deck and Mori Art Museum, where there are great views of the Tokyo skyline (especially in the evening). I visited Mori Tower once my first time through Tokyo, and returned a second time during my last night in Japan, since my hotel was located in Roppongi.
Northeast of Roppongi is Shinjuku, location of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, where I got a few more shots of the Tokyo skyline.
